It is clam chowder season. Recently Amaya and I indulged in a decadent cup of creamy clam chowder at Matunuck Oyster Bar thumbing our nose at the insane heat and humidity. Aki went the local route with Rhode Island clear. It happens to be her preferred chowder. In both cases the chowder brought the feelings of summer, the aroma of the ocean, and the fondness of family memories to the table. How do you chowder?
