I learned something about views. I was informed that they are best when partially obscured. That means if the view is more than partially obscured you better find a way to fix it or get a better view. Low and behold, I was taught through the act of doing how to fix a view. Climb a tall ladder with a saw and then use climbing gear to scurry further up the tree in order to cut and remove the dreadful view obscuring branches out of the way. Yes, this lesson was like many I have learned, knee and knuckle scraping but plenty useful in the end. In fact, it got me thinking more about a culinary aesthetic and what stays and goes on a plate. See the process for yourself.
